Application note for MLX91220 - Module Thermal Management
The MLX91220 (MLX91221) integrated circuit (IC) is an isolated Hall-effect current sensor that measures the current flowing through the lead frame (primary current) of its SOIC package. Due to the Joule effect, this current generates heat, leading to an increase of the temperature of the IC. This application note provides guidelines regarding the thermal management for MLX91220 and MLX91221 to ensure optimal performance of the application.
