Automotive pressure sensor interface with analog output - MLX90328

Product description

The MLX90328 is an automotive sensor interface IC with an analog output that can be used to interface all kind of resistive sensors configured as a Wheatstone bridge found typically in pressure sensors applications. The signal conditioning includes gain adjustment, offset control as well as temperature compensation in order to accommodate variations of the different resistive sensing elements.

Compensation values are stored in EEPROM and can be programmed through the output pin via a single wire serial interface with tools provided by Melexis.

Features and benefits

  • Sensor interface IC for use in harsh automotive environments

  • Possibilities to achieve outstanding overall sensor performances

  • Ratiometric analog output

BEV thermal management

In order to optimize energy while increasing the All-Electric Range (AER), a perfect thermal management system is key. Ideal performance of the battery requires a temperature between 20-40℃, no matter the external conditions. Without the heat source of a classical ICE, new sources for heating & cooling need to be optimized. Discover the different modes.
