Temperature sensor interface - MLX90327

Product description

The MLX90327 is a family of dual thermocouple interface IC, intended for sensing of high temperatures in a harsh automotive environment. Currently two versions of this product exist, both featuring dual channel interface for two thermocouple (TC), or 1 thermocouple + 1 Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTD):

  • MLX90327LLW-AAA-001 -Standard accuracy

  • MLX90327LLW-AAA-101 -High accuracy

Drawing on nearly three decades of experience within the automotive business, our MLX90327 offers a robust solution to measure high temperatures.
Being a smart sensor interface, the MLX90327 supports SENT protocol or two channels of 12-bit PWM, configurable by a single setting.

With their high operating temperature up to 155ºC and wide measurement range (up to 1.300ºC) the interfaces are intended for use in new high temperature applications where current standard automotive temperature sensor solutions can no longer offer the required reliability and lifetime.
